Brand Challenge 2014: Standing out in a field of Cannabis Edibles and other Brand Challenges of legalization
The annual PRSA Colorado Brand Challenge is a unique program for public relations professionals - an opportunity to not only network with your peers but also hone your skills in creating effective branding campaigns.
This year's Brand Challenge will take place Tuesday, October 28 at the Oxford Hotel in downtown Denver. Join special guest panelists Stacey Stegman, spokesperson for DIA, Ricardo Baca, marijuana editor for the Denver Post, and Joe Hodas, chief marketing officer for Dixie Elixirs, for a program with a little different flavor.
Our panelists will present the challenge and lay the foundation by providing information such as how the legalization of marijuana has changed our state brand, issues that exist at the state and federal levels as visitors travel to and from Colorado through DIA, some complicated definitions, and more.
Following the presentation, we'll break into small groups and brainstorm ideas for addressing the brand challenge, as well as opportunity, that come with national leadership in legalizing this substance. The winning idea will be shared that evening and detailed in a November edition of the PRSA Colorado weekly newsletter.
