PRSA Colorado Chapter Accreditation Committee Announces New APR Mentoring Program

The PRSA Colorado Accreditation Committee is pleased to announce a new program, featuring one-on-one mentoring, for Chapter members interested in pursuing an APR and for current APR’s seeking engagement opportunities. This new program matches APR candidates with an accredited mentor to discuss and review the materials and principles needed to successfully complete the Readiness Review and computer-based examination.

Program Details:

Once a candidate has applied for APR and is deemed eligible to seek APR accreditation, the candidate should contact the PRSA Colorado Accreditation Committee to be assigned a mentor. Mentors will be accredited PRSA Colorado members and will work one-on-one to help prepare candidates for the Readiness Review and computer-based examination. Have no fear! Mentors will have discussion outlines and additional materials from PRSA to assist candidates through the process.  Plus the Accreditation Committee will serve as a resource for both the candidates and mentors.

What is in it for you?

  • As a candidate, you will receive one-on-one guidance from someone who has walked this path and create stronger relationships with seasoned veterans!
  •  As a mentor, you can help pass on your experience plus brush up on your skills (remember RPIE?) and help you reach APR maintenance goals.

Let’s get started!

  • APR Candidates - begin the process by completing the application and reach out to the Accreditation Committee to be assigned a mentor.
  • Current APR’s - sign up to be a mentor!
  • Contact Committee Co-Chairs Stacee Martin, APR, / 303-572-2385 and John Leavitt, APR, / 303-739-7181 to confirm your interest.
